About Learning Quest Tutoring
Anthony J. Dworzanski is the founder of Learning Quest Tutoring, LLC. He has been a public school English teacher in New Jersey since 2015 and has devoted his professional career to working with students of all ages and backgrounds to make reading into a fun and adventurous activity for personal and academic growth. As an avid reader, passionate school teacher and fervent lover of literature and art, Anthony founded Learning Quest Tutoring to address our nation's literacy crisis where an estimated 130 million Americans ages 18-74 possess a 6th grade reading level or lower. In the wake of this statistic and the recent Covid-19 pandemic exacerbating the national literacy gap even further, Anthony has devoted his career to providing high quality personalized literacy instruction specifically tailored to each student's needs.
Anthony is dedicated to restoring confidence, dignity and independence to all students by focusing on uninterrupted, individualized instruction using a proven method he adopted all throughout his teaching career. At his very core, Anthony strongly believes that students' quest for attaining strong reading and writing skills leads their academic journey towards becoming well-rounded, self-sufficient contributing members of society opening new doors for both personal and professional growth.
With our public schools facing unprecedented challenges such as the national teacher shortage, large and overpopulated class sizes, lack of funding for resources, teachers paying for out-of-pocket classroom expenses and one-dimensional, ineffective textbook-based curricula, we are living in a time where adequately educating the youth of our nation has become a conundrum that is out of touch with the needs of students and what they truly require to flourish. Anthony's firsthand experience with these challenges in the classroom only reaffirms his support and belief in Learning Quest's approach to helping close the literacy gap and cultivating a generation of effective readers and critical thinkers.

Anthony is a fully certified K-12 English teacher in the state of New Jersey earning the classification of "Highly Qualified Teacher" (HQT). He has 8 years of experience teaching in Woodbridge, Bayonne, Jersey City and Perth Amboy with a proven track record of success.

Licensed Supervisor of Instruction
Anthony is a fully certified supervisor of English instruction in the state of New Jersey and frequently serves as a mentor to incoming and novice teachers to develop effective instructional materials and efficient teaching methods.

Completion of B.A. & M.A. Programs
Anthony earned his B.A. in English from Kean University and his M.A. in Education and Teaching from Saint Peter's University.

Anthony achieved some of the highest passing rates and student growth rates in his district with an 80% passing rate on the NJSLA and PARCC assessments accompanied by a 30% increase in overall test scores year over year with data proving this success.
